As The Valley undergoes its exciting redevelopment, Moonee Valley Racing Club is taking the thrill of Ladbrokes Friday Night Lights on the road — bringing the heart of Melbourne’s night racing scene to Southside Pakenham and Southside Cranbourne.

Since October 2025, the iconic Friday night experience you know and love has lit up new tracks across Victoria. Expect the same high-energy racing, live music, delicious food, and vibrant atmosphere — all under the stars.

Crowd favourites like the Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge and the Group 2 Australia Stakes will headline the season, alongside special summer race nights that capture The Valley’s signature mix of sport and celebration. 

It’s a huge edition of Ladbrokes Friday Night Lights at Pakenham, featuring the running of the Group 2 Clamms Seafood Australia Stakes. The honour roll for the 1200m Weight-For-Age sprint includes champions such as El Segundo, and two-time winner Black Caviar, while recent victors Jigsaw, Veight, and Schwarz have all added their names to the list. It’s your chance to see star sprinters shine under lights. The excitement doesn’t stop on the track. Enjoy a big night of family-friendly entertainment featuring special appearances by Sesame Street favourites Elmo and Cookie Monster, thrilling carnival rides, and a range of fun kids’ activities.
